GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2), also known as Pralmorelin, is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a potent growth hormone secretagogue. It stimulates the release of growth hormone (GH) through the ghrelin receptor.
Key points
GHRP-2 binds to the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR), also known as the ghrelin receptor. This binding triggers a signaling cascade that results in the pulsatile release of GH from the pituitary gland. It also has a mild stimulatory effect on prolactin, ACTH, and cortisol levels at higher doses [1:1][4].
